Job Title: Food Assembly Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Assembly Supervisor to join our team at ma'feli inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Food Assembly Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, and to analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to these procedures.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced food service environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and to adapt to changing circumstances.

English or French.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week.

Experience:

Experience an asset.

Education:

No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Work Setting:

Restaurant.
