Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled live-in caregiver to join our team at Abdul Syed Caregiver. As a key member of our support team, you will provide exceptional care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Medication Management: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosages and timely administration.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, encouraging healthy eating habits and maintaining hydration levels.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Engage in activities and conversations that promote emotional well-being, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
  • Work Setting: This is a live-in position, requiring staff accommodation available on-site.
  • Language: Fluent English language skills are essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
