Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing Communication Disorders: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the nature and extent of communication disorders in participants.
- Developing Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and communication impairments.
- Providing Therapy and Counseling: Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions to support participants in achieving their communication goals.
- Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to provide expert guidance on communication disorders and develop training programs.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated Experience Working with Individuals with Communication Disorders.
- Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC).
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with participants, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Multidisciplinary Team, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and supporting program development.
- Valid Class 5 or 7N B.C. Driver's License and Suitable Driver's Abstract/Claims History).
