We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team at West Coast Floor Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment to remove debris and dirt
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
- Perform other routine maintenance tasks as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or cleaning role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
- Availability to work 32-40 hours per week
- Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces
- May be exposed to dust, chemicals, and other hazardous materials
- English is the primary language of communication
