Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing and planning resident care needs in collaboration with medical professionals and care conferences.
- Providing leadership and oversight to health services staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Administering and recording prescribed medication according to company policy and scope of practice.
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation and reporting.
- Applying dressings and treatments as per physician's orders and policy.
- Assisting with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other health care staff.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. You will possess:
- Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN).
- Ability to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter and a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid CPR & First Aid or BLS Certification.
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
- Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, proficiency in French considered an asset.
- Any previous course in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care to be a huge asset.
- Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset.
