CNC Programmer Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC programmer to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to program CNC machines
  • Develop and implement efficient programming methods to optimize production
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in CNC programming and operation
  • Strong knowledge of Mastercam software and programming languages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $28.00 to $34.00
  • Permanent, full-time employment with 40 to 44 hours per week
  • Opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals

Education and Experience:

  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC programming and operation

Credentials:

  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association
