Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Jyllikleen Cleaning Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect floors, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees in their transition to Canada. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to provide support and resources to those in need.

  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees in their job search and settlement process
  • Provide information and resources on foreign credential recognition and job training
Support for Youths

We believe in providing opportunities for youth to gain work experience and develop their skills. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to provide on-the-job training and mentorship to young people.

Work Environment

We offer a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
