Job Description

The Opportunity:

WSP is currently seeking a Principal ELECTRICAL Engineer to join our Mechanical and Electrical Healthcare department, located at our Thornhill office.

This position will be responsible for and actively involved in winning and delivering M&E projects in the GTA and West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Principal Electrical Engineer in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
