Description:
As a Paramedic with AHS, you will be responsible for assessing emergency scenes and patients, transporting ill or injured patients, and providing advanced life support. You will work in a brand new facility attached to the High Prairie Health Complex, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the prairies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess emergency scenes and patients
- Transport ill or injured patients
- Provide advanced life support
- Operate ambulances or other modes of transportation
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program
- Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Advanced Care Paramedic
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits
