Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing food order summaries for the chef, as requested by customers
  • Establishing efficient methods to meet completion schedules
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Ensuring that food products and customer service meet Sunterra quality standards
  • Controlling and maintaining records of inventory, monitoring product cost, and informing management
  • Resolving customer complaints and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
  • Following and monitoring sanitary checklists and temperature log sheets
  • Adhering to Sunterra Standardized Recipes and all other related Sunterra Policies

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of ordering and kitchen budgeting
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Managerial or supervisory skills
  • Food Safety Mini Course certification is required
  • Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 40lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
