Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Boundary Community Care is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Grand Forks, B.C. This part-time (0.35 FTE) position is available immediately and will provide coverage until January 2026, or the return of the incumbent.

About the Role

This community-based position has a schedule with a 0.45 FTE facility-based position for a total FTE of 0.80. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, educate clients on self-care techniques, and recommend modifications to enhance home accessibility and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive in-home assessments, consultations, and treatments to clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve clients' physical capabilities and achieve greater independence in daily activities.
  • Provide guidance on mobility devices and adaptive equipment to empower clients to improve their physical capabilities.
  • Oversee Rehabilitation Assistants to ensure seamless coordination and transfer of function within the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
  • Valid Driver's license.
