Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Director to join our team at Blackline Safety. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable function to ensure timely collection of customer payments.
  • Manage the AR team, including a team lead and coordinators.
  • Manage credit approval process.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable function.
  • Manage the AP team, including a manager and coordinators.
  • Ensure proper level of authorization obtained for supplier invoices and matching purchase orders to receipts/bills was completed along with payment.
  • Review semi-monthly payroll and quarterly commissions.
  • Manage insurance risk and liaise with insurance providers.
  • Liaise with the Treasury function to support cash inflows and outflows needs.
  • Prepare various financial reports, analysis, and KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the external auditors and support the quarterly reviews and annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's internal controls over financial reporting.

About the Role
As a Financial Operations Director, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of Blackline Safety. You will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, working independently, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • CPA, MBA, or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a public mid-sized manufacturing/technology environment.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a growing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience in MS Excel and MS Word applications, with a willingness to develop a full working knowledge of the Company's NetSuite ERP system.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
