Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at Trans-Logic Freight Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our truck fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on production and other key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training of truck drivers and other staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain the smooth operation of the truck fleet.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
