Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Happy Valley- Goose Bay, NL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing front-line sales and service to our clients, analyzing their insurance needs, and recommending coverage options.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell Personal Insurance products and meet sales targets while generating leads and developing business relationships with individual and group clientele.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze client needs and recommend insurance coverage options, ensuring that clients receive the best possible solutions for their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
- A valid insurance license for the Province of Newfoundland or willingness to obtain same
- Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be an asset
- Strong customer focus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully, with strong analytical and organizational skills
