Job Description:

This role will be responsible for the safe construction of foundations and other concrete structures on a commercial site. As a Carpenter, you will be required to erect/install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades necessary at construction sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To excel in this position, you should have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprenticeship training or Journeyperson certification in carpentry. Experience working in commercial/industrial construction is considered an asset, as is a valid first aid certificate. Additionally, proficiency in concrete form work and possession of valid ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 certifications are highly desirable.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

">

The physical demands of this job include the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive motions, bend, crouch, or kneel for extended periods. You must also be capable of working outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season and willing to work long hours while completing repetitive tasks.
