- Time Management and Prioritization: Manage multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure timely completion of underwriting tasks and meet business objectives.
- Risk Analysis and Management: Analyze and manage risk exposure for commercial clients, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Post-Secondary Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
- Commercial Underwriting Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial underwriting, with a strong understanding of insurance products and risk management principles.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, risk management principles, and underwriting practices. Proficient in MS Office and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Designations: Completed or pursuing CIP, FCIP, CRM, or RPLU designations.
