Test Case Writer

About the Role
As a Test Case Writer at EllisDon, you will be responsible for partnering with the project team to identify and document test cases for the Workday Implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Develop automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks such as Kainos SMART.
- Work closely with the Test Lead, Project Leads, and the Implementation Partner to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Continuously improve the testing process by identifying areas of improvement and implementing best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent practical experience in an ERP test case writing role.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, including experience in test case writing.
- HRIS implementation test writer experience required. Experience with Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, UKG or SAP.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality on schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Hybrid Project methodology is a plus.
- Experience with SmartSheet an asset.
