Job Title: Home Support Worker

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Harpinder Hari. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administer medications to clients as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  2. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  3. Accompany clients on regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  4. Change non-sterile dressings as required
  5. Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients
  6. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  7. Provide companionship and social support to clients, helping to combat loneliness and isolation
  8. Assist clients with daily tasks, such as laundry and ironing

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work 30 to 35 hours per week
