As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Effective communication with the collaborative team
- Providing scheduled, goal-focused services to families and individuals
- Developing and implementing goal-focused activities
- Maintaining accurate case notes, reports, and administrative tasks
- Transporting children/youth while providing services
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in a social service discipline (i.e. Child and Youth Care, Developmental Service Worker)
- Experience working with children/youth and/or families with diverse needs
- Current Verbal De-escalation Certification with experience in crisis prevention
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Knowledge of FASD, ODD, autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses is an asset
