At Vantix Systems Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Delivery Manager to join our team. This role will provide oversight, guidance, and mentoring to a group of Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the IS Infrastructure portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to set priorities and development objectives to ensure timely and quality project deliverables.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to completing high-quality deliverables, on time and on budget, for the assigned projects within the portfolio. They will also have a strong understanding of the Systems Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), including custom-build and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) implementation frameworks.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days onsite per week in Edmonton, Alberta. If you are a motivated and experienced project manager looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide oversight and guidance to a group of Project Managers
  2. Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the IS Infrastructure portfolio
  3. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  4. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems
  2. 1+ years of management experience
  3. Strong knowledge of the Systems Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to set priorities and development objectives
