We are seeking a skilled Tire Retreader to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a Tire Retreader, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to retread tires, ensuring high-quality products for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery and equipment to mix, calender, extrude, mould, and cure rubber materials or rubber products.
- Check and monitor product quality to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly, and operate finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind, or buff rubber products into final form.
- Affix seals or tags to approved products, and make minor adjustments or repairs to products as needed.
- Adjust machinery and equipment to proper settings, and mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycle.
- Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil, and chemicals into machines, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, and hot environment.
- Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Dependability, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
This is a part-time position with 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The work site environment is noisy, odorous, dusty, and hot. The ideal candidate will be able to work in this environment and meet the physical demands of the job.
