Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating stroke programs and services at our assigned site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead interdisciplinary program staff to provide evidence-informed services within program parameters and in adherence with Alberta Health Services (AHS) and Canadian Stroke Best Practices.
- Participate in and implement quality improvement initiatives, program development, evaluation, and knowledge translation within the program.
- Collaborate with discipline-specific Professional Practice Leads (PPLs) to implement supported and leading practices.
- Consult on complex patient care scenarios and provide clinical services.
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
- Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Registration with the appropriate Alberta regulatory college or professional association.
- BLS. NIHSS, Swallowing screen training.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a related area is required.
- Experience in stroke rehabilitation is an asset.
- Educational and/or other qualifications required to perform in the clinical area.
- A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
