Job RequirementsWe are seeking a qualified candidate for our High Voltage Subsystem validation engineer position. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing subsystem level design validation plans (DVP), performing design validation (DV) on HV features and strategies on system benches and in vehicles, ensuring validation activities meet program timing, analyzing validation results, and engaging appropriate team members on issue resolution.
Key Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Applied Physics, Systems, or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited or equivalent university. Knowledge of product engineering design and development, with emphasis on systems and product development, is essential. Additionally, you should understand real-time systems, hardware, and software, as well as regulatory requirements, industry standards, and recommended practices.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with HV safety features, including isolation, interlock loop, equipotential bonding, and knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) requirements, would be beneficial. Experience with tools such as SW INCA, CANalyzer, Canoe, MS Project, and Visio is also desirable.
Work ArrangementsThis full-time position requires onsite work for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, during normal working hours. The successful candidate must be a Canadian citizen eligible for a US work visa specifically the TN visa.
