Stockroom Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Count and reconcile inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Stockroom Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise.
- Merchandise Control: Monitor and control merchandise levels, identify slow-moving items, and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and support to stockroom staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a stockroom or inventory management role.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
