Christie Digital Systems is a global leader in the development of award-winning light technology solutions and services. We're seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of state-of-the-art projection systems and application tool sets.

About the Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled software developer to work on a variety of exciting projects, including the development of embedded software on a Linux embedded platform for system control and projector management. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of technologies, including C++, Linux, and cross-platform development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for our projection systems
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain hardware device drivers for our equipment
  • Work on network control of equipment over TCP/IP sockets
  • Develop thermal control algorithms for our systems
  • Design and develop application software to aid in diagnosing equipment in the field and analyzing data post-mortem
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in C++ with solid object-oriented design skills
  • Experience with cross-platform Linux development and Windows platforms
  • Multi-threaded development knowledge
