Senior Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed analog and mixed-signal ICs for our optical communications products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-speed analog and mixed-signal ICs for our optical communications products
- Collaborate with the packaging and hardware design team to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
- Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables
- Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production
- Collaborate with other Acacia mixed-signal engineers to provide an optimized design that integrates into the ASIC
- BSEE degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent, or an MS degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent
- Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in at least 3 areas: High Speed Serial Links, High Performance Output Drivers, and High Performance Phase Locked Loops
- Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications, including backplane and cable communications
- Design for manufacturability, including characterization over PVT, electromigration analysis, power and IR drop analysis, and solid ESD laboratory practices
- Software experience, including high-frequency test equipment and software

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components.
