Location: Multiple locations throughout British Columbia.Pulmonologists diagnose and treat respiratory conditions affecting the lungs. Their expertise is crucial for patients suffering from chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD, or pneumonia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify respiratory issues.
- Manage ventilatory support systems for patients.
- Educate patients on healthy lung practices and disease prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Hold an MD or DO degree.
- Complete internal medicine residency and pulmonary fellowship training.
- OBTAIN BOARD CERTIFICATION IN PULMONOLOGY.
- Utilize analytical skills for diagnostic testing.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills for patient education.
