Job Summary

Veeva Systems is seeking an experienced Automation Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our automation platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable automation pipelines using Java, JavaScript, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure using Databricks, AWS Elastic, and Open Search.
  • Participate in code reviews and establish good coding practices.
  • Contribute to the development of our cloud-based reporting infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years experience building BI reports using Tableau, Informatica, or Business Intelligence.
  • Deep technical knowledge and experience in Databricks, AWS Elastic, or Open Search, Kibana.
  • Strong experience in Spark, Java, cloud databases, and ETL is required.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic iterative environment.
  • Curious to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have
  • Domain experience in Life Sciences/Pharma.
  • Experience working in a remote setup.
  • Experience with ELK, DataBricks, Sigma BI Dashboard/Notebooks, AWS/Azure/GCP, Jenkins/Gitlab/Jira/Confluence/Testrail/Sealights.
