CNC Machinist Job Description

At Onyx Stones & Custom Cabinets Ltd., we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Machine Tool Setup and Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments and document any deviations from specifications.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

As a CNC Machinist at Onyx Stones & Custom Cabinets Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality products.
