Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Physiotherapist at Prairie Mountain Health, you will be responsible for providing leadership in the care of clients, contributing to the assessment, planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of care related to the profession of Physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and prioritize a caseload, assuming responsibility for assigned clients.
- Apply Physiotherapy knowledge and skills to provide individualized and continuous assessment and treatment for clients.
- Collaborate with clients on the planning, implementation, and progression of the treatment plan, providing education and counseling.
- Delegate tasks to Rehabilitation Assistants as appropriate and in accordance with the treatment plan.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and techniques within the scope of Physiotherapy in the treatment of clients.
- Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the implementation of the treatment plan.
- Document client information in a timely manner, adhering to PMH policy and relevant professional college guidelines.
- Attend care conferences, meetings, and collaborate with external agencies as applicable.
- Support health promotion, disease prevention, and primary health care principles.
- Complete statistical reporting within established timelines.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited or approved university Physiotherapy program.
- Eligible for and maintains licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in the province of Manitoba.
- Eligible for and maintains membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, and access to a personal vehicle for service within Prairie Mountain Health.
- Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification within the past twelve (12) months.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs and Internet applications.
