Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Trimac Transportation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel "heavy-duty" trucks, trailers, and other equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems.
  • Work on trailers, including checking running gear, electrical systems, and air systems.
  • Use hand and air tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Red Seal certification is an asset.
  • CVIP/SGI Certification is an asset.
  • Two years of verifiable mechanic experience.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 15 feet.
  • Positive work ethic, attitude, and job performance.
