Job Title: Regional Immunization Leader

Job Summary:

The Regional Immunization Leader is a key position at Fraser Health, responsible for developing and implementing immunization strategies across the region. This role requires a strong understanding of public health principles, marketing strategies, and communication theories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement immunization promotional and educational strategies
  • Provide evidence-based consultation in policy development and systems improvement
  • Lead and promote immunization across Fraser Health by conducting systems analysis, developing outreach strategies, and recommending policy and practice changes
  • Provide advice, guidance, and direction for the successful implementation of Fraser Health's immunization goals and strategies
  • Conduct research and evaluations to benchmark and measure the strategic planning, project development, and effectiveness of the organization's immunization strategies

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, Science, Public Health, Marketing, or a relevant discipline, plus seven to ten years of recent, related experience in public health and health promotion. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership practices, including clear, caring, and courageous leadership, and have the ability to synthesize evidence into effective presentations and actionable recommendations.

Competencies:

The Regional Immunization Leader should have comprehensive knowledge of community development processes, marketing strategies, and communication, education, and behavior theories. They should be able to utilize communication, marketing, behavior, and education theories to facilitate and coordinate planning, development, and implementation of provincial promotion activities and events.
