About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Protech Chemicals Ltd. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting and assisting in various laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our chemical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.
  • Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques to identify and quantify chemical compounds.
  • Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques to ensure the quality of our products.
  • Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques to identify and quantify chemical compounds.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Operate laboratory apparatus to conduct various tests and analyses.
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products.
  • Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques and microscopy to analyze and identify chemical compounds.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our tests and analyses.
  • Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products.
  • Prepare solution of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations to conduct various tests and analyses.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in our tests and analyses.
  • Organized to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Fast-paced environment to work in a dynamic and challenging laboratory setting.
