We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Delight Street Eats Ltd. as a Retail Meat Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing high-quality meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Slice cooked meats for customer convenience
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats for presentation
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, walking, and attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
