About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Healthcare Executive to lead our organization as Director of Regional Laboratory Services. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our regional diagnostic laboratory services.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in senior management roles within large, complex healthcare environments. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, they will possess a deep understanding of governance practices, sound financial management, and the ability to navigate periods of change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Provide vision and strategic direction for EORLA, guiding the organization's long-term strategy, goals, and objectives.
    • Drive innovation and promote excellence in regional pathology and laboratory medicine.
  • Operational Management
    • Maintain good governance practices and ensure a robust enterprise risk management process is in place and maintained.
    • Oversee the financial resources of EORLA, including operating and capital budgets.
    • Execute the current Board Quality Improvement Plan and work with the EORLA Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee to establish a long-range quality plan.
  • Candidate Profile
    • Education: Advanced university education and/or professional designation(s) in health administration, business management or a relevant health discipline or comparable demonstrated experience and transferable skills in a field relevant to the delivery of healthcare.
    • Experience: A minimum of 10 years' senior management experience in a large, complex environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong prioritization and organizational skills. They will also demonstrate a proactive, agile, and client-centric approach, with the ability to facilitate and negotiate with member organizations within an integration context.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
