We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a farm worker at Le Vignoble de l'Isle de Bacchus inc.
About the JobThis is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on vineyard operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop maintenance, harvesting, and equipment operation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the vineyard, including pruning, weeding, and irrigation systems.
- Operate farming equipment, such as tractors and harvesters, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload supplies and produce, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including hours worked and tasks completed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in agriculture or a related field.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
As a farm worker, you can expect to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity levels. The role may also involve exposure to dust, pesticides, and other hazardous materials.
Salary:$45,000 per year, plus benefits and a comprehensive pension plan.
