Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled professional to partner with local Iwi in sustainable agricultural development. This role will work closely with Maori trusts to deliver results for current and future generations.
The successful applicant will have strong relationships with internal colleagues and provide specialist technical advice. They will be driven by achieving financial targets and providing exceptional customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong understanding of Maori culture and business practices
- Introductory Maori language skills and personal values aligned to Maori culture
- A working knowledge of technical farming systems and desire to grow skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
- Experience in a rural sales role or working knowledge of horticultural practices highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including group presentations
