Senior Project Manager, Rail Signals & Communications

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our Rail Signals & Communications team in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project pursuits and prepare proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Plan and manage each stage of a project to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Identify necessary resources for project execution and develop project scope, deliverables, and work plans.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management to ensure project success.
  • Lead project controls staff and project coordinators to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain a good understanding of project scope to identify scope creep and ensure timely communication throughout all project phases.
  • Comply with AECOM's Quality Management System methodology and participate in monthly project reviews.
  • Ensure all project close-out documents are submitted upon completion and act as a mentor to junior project management and controls professionals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline + 6 years of relevant experience in project management in rail for signals OR Technical Diploma + 8 years of experience.
  • Driver's License.
  • 8 years or more of relevant experience in public rail and transit.
  • Strong technical knowledge in LRT and Freight rail.
  • Experience in State of Good Repair projects.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team skills.
  • Able to multitask due to concurrent projects.
