Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our clinical development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs, managing inventory and equipment, and providing customer education and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance user competencies
  • Manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs
  • Participate in clinical and operational decision-making and train investigators/customers on proper use of Medtronic products and technology
  • Conduct on-site education and consulting, support field personnel, and partner with sales colleagues to develop sales plans
  • Identify and facilitate growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree, or
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A Bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD
Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a High School Diploma or GED, or
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with an Associate degree, or
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a bachelor's degree, or
  • Minimum 3 years of any prior professional experience, with a bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD
Nice to Have:
  • Background in Nursing Education or tech would beneficial
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related Sales and/or Marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare system (National, Provincial and/or Regional level)
  • Medical device experience
Skills/Competencies:
  • Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Knowledge of adult education and communication principles and practices
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community

  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of nursing and/or medical principles, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate clinical education methodologies and assessment instruments

  • Working knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation principles and techniques
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Bilingualism
Salary Range:

$77k-$115k
