Clinical Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our clinical development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs, managing inventory and equipment, and providing customer education and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance user competencies
- Manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs
- Participate in clinical and operational decision-making and train investigators/customers on proper use of Medtronic products and technology
- Conduct on-site education and consulting, support field personnel, and partner with sales colleagues to develop sales plans
- Identify and facilitate growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree, or
- Bachelor's degree
- A Bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a High School Diploma or GED, or
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with an Associate degree, or
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a bachelor's degree, or
- Minimum 3 years of any prior professional experience, with a bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD
- Background in Nursing Education or tech would beneficial
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related Sales and/or Marketing experience
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare system (National, Provincial and/or Regional level)
- Medical device experience
- Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Knowledge of adult education and communication principles and practices
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community
- Desire to help others

- Strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of nursing and/or medical principles, methods, and procedures
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate clinical education methodologies and assessment instruments
- Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments
- Working knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation principles and techniques
- Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions
