The Role:

As a Management Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 4-phased program to gain in-depth knowledge of our business operations, from shipping and receiving to employee development and customer service. You will cultivate strong relationships with customers by growing a sales territory and providing exceptional service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from experienced managers and colleagues to build a successful management career at EMCO.

Program Outline:

Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) - Focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions

Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) - Focus on customer problem-solving, relationship building with customers and vendors

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (12-Months) - Focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - Develop leadership skills, support the team through coaching and mentoring, and set vision and strategy for the business

Upon completion of the training phases, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Profit Centre locations.

  • University degree or college diploma - all disciplines of study will be considered
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
