Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at GURVI CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of locations, including dusty environments. The work site environment will require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
