About The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Business Partnering and Value Management team, you will play a critical role in developing business cases for projects, ensuring that project plans effectively respond to the needs and align with the organizational strategy.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution and delivery of procurement projects within the project function. This will involve ensuring that project plans are executed according to the schedule, budget, and resource allocation defined in the project plan.

You will also identify and raise potential risks as they arise throughout project delivery, collaborating with the Project Leads and Risk and Governance Lead to ensure that risk and compliance standards are consistently met.

In addition, you will ensure that project work is appropriately documented in accordance with pre-existing Business-as-usual reporting standards. You will also maintain regular communication with relevant project stakeholders within and outside the organization, ensuring their expectations are managed and met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business cases for projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy
  • Drive end-to-end execution and delivery of procurement projects
  • Ensure project plans are executed according to schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Identify and raise potential risks, collaborating with Project Leads and Risk and Governance Lead
  • Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in procurement or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, procure to pay life cycles, project execution, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, including costing, budgeting, and identifying savings
  • Proficiency in core project management, including agile and waterfall methods
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration platforms

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
