Restaurant Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Alberta Ltd O/A River Rock Grill. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures, balance cash, and complete balance sheets.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct performance reviews, cost products and services, organize and maintain inventory, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
  • Supervision: Supervise 3-4 people, 5-10 people, or working groups.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding work conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
