About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Elderberries Child Care Centre Ltd. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and ensuring the well-being and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for our children, including daycare equipment and facilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Support early childhood educators in maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities, such as art, music, and physical play
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors
