Advanced Threat Intelligence Lead for Cyber Security

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Advanced Threat Intelligence Lead for Cyber Security to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our cyber security threat hunting efforts, providing expert guidance on threat intelligence and incident response, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities- Lead advanced threat hunting efforts to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with threat intelligence teams, global security operations teams, and Canadian technology groups
- Investigate and resolve complex security incidents, ensuring timely and effective remediation
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Team to develop and implement security processes and procedures
- Provide subject matter expertise on threat intelligence and incident response to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in incident response, computer forensics, network forensics, threat hunting, and threat intelligence or related fields
- 1-2 years of scripting/programming experience preferred (e.g., Python, PowerShell, SQL, KQL)
- Strong technical expertise in security processes, including threat event lifecycle management, threat hunting, and threat intelligence activities
- Technical proficiency with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and its application in assessing, enhancing, and testing security monitoring, threat detection, and mitigation activities
At KPMG Canada, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous retirement plan.
