Job Title: Web Designer

At CANABEE INC, we are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to understand their website requirements and develop a plan to meet those needs.
  • Design and develop website mock-ups and storyboards to visualize the client's vision.
  • Source and select information for inclusion on the website, and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the site.
  • Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Research and evaluate interactive media software products to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in web design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, HTML, Java, CSS, and website creation and management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
