About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Associate to join our client's team in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. This is a permanent position working in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with the production of internal financial statements, including preparing accounting entries and reconciliations;
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring expenses and income to produce end-of-month reports;
  • Compiling statistics and tracking cost reduction initiatives;
  • Providing technical support for budgetary and integrated management software packages;
  • Supporting the end-of-year closing process and annual audit.


Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A certificate in administration – accounting option or a DEC in accounting;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting cycle management, budgetary management, and management accounting;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, particularly Excel and databases;
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French (oral and written);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment and autonomy.


What We Offer
