Heavy Equipment Technician Position

Groupe Robert, a leading transportation and logistics company in Quebec and Ontario, is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join its team at the truck mechanics workshop in Rouyn-Noranda.
About the Role:This is a unique opportunity for a resourceful and conscientious individual to take on the responsibilities of a Heavy Equipment Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
About You:- We are looking for an individual with a strong educational background in mechanical engineering or a related field (DEP Mechanical Option).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a heavy equipment technician in a similar environment is required.
- You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive annual salary estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 CAD based on experience and qualifications.
