**About the Role**
Island Health is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team in providing high-quality inpatient care at our Campbell River General Hospital. As a Family Medicine Physician/Hospitalist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to unattached and unassigned inpatients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide family medicine care to unattached and unassigned inpatients at Campbell River General Hospital
- Work alongside colleagues in various specialties, including Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine
- Participate in teaching and education opportunities with the Strathcona Site Family Practice Residency Program
- Collaborate with the Division Head of Family Practice to ensure professional responsibilities are met
**Benefits and Remuneration**
As a Family Medicine Physician/Hospitalist with Island Health, you may be eligible for additional remuneration through our Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
- Relocation: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Flat fee: $9,001
- Fee Premium: 6.09%
- CME: $2,000/annum (year 3-4) and $4,000/annum (after 4 years in the community)
