Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of junior engineers in the field of civil and structural engineering with a focus on bridges and marine structures.
- Provide expert-level structural design, analysis, and modeling services.
- Review and approve design and drawing submissions.
- Carry out specifications and quantity estimations.
- Manage projects from start to close, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
- Conduct structural inspections and assessments for various projects.
- Perform fieldwork and site visits as required.
- Prepare, review, and sign off on reports.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
- Professional Engineer's designation (P.Eng) in any Province of Canada with eligibility for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia.
- Master of Engineering (Structural Engineering) from a recognized educational institution.
- High-level proficiency in structural analysis and modeling.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Canadian design codes and standards.
- Familiarity with engineering software programs.
